About the Route
The event will take place at the relaxing and scenic East Coast Park. Both the Run and Walk will start and end at The Playground @ Big Splash. It will take participants through East Coast Park which is flat, fast and enjoyable for all participants of all ages.

Terms and Condition
1. The official entry form must be completed by each prospective participant and be submitted by hand or through the official on-line registration website. Entry forms that are not officially endorsed will not be accepted.
2. Official acceptance of the registration will be made upon receipt of payment and all registrations will be on a first come, first served basis. All payments are to be made by cash or accepted credit cards, as may be specified. Personal cheques and cash will only be accepted if registration is done in person at Breast Cancer Foundation.
3. Completion of entry form and payment of the registration fee represents acceptance of the rules and regulations of participation.
4. Participants below 18 years of age need to seek parental or guardian consent before participating in the event.
5. Each participant is only allowed to register for ONE (1) category only.
6. No registration will be accepted on event day of the Pink Ribbon Walk 2010.
7. A registration fee will be charged per participant. Please refer to table for each category.
8. On-line registration is available at www.pinkribbonsingapore.com.
9. All participants will receive an Official Receipt (hard copy for registration in person or soft copy through on-line registration) after payment is made.
10. Once the registration form has been duly processed, there shall be no fee refund for those participants who eventually do not take part for whatever reason.
11. Race category or race entry is not transferable.
12. This event is limited to the first 5,000 participants to register.
13. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse entries.
14. All participants are required to collect their goodie bags which includes the Number Bib and Race Chip (for the run category only) on 25 and 26 September 2010 between 11am - 7pm, at the Wisma Atria, 435 Orchard Road Singapore 238877.
15. All participants are required to produce their Official Receipts or Confirmation Slips for the collection of goodie bags which includes the Number Bib (for the run category only).
16. No collection of goodie bags shall be allowed on event day.
17. Size of T-shirt is subject to availability. No exchange will be entertained.
18. Participants shall make themselves ready for their respective events ONE (1) hour before the time stated in the programme. The First Call will be made 45 minutes before the time stated in the programme. The Second Call will be made 30 minutes before the start of the race.
19. It is the responsibility of participants to have themselves certified fit to participate in the event if they are unsure of their state of health. A participant must retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any member of the official medical team.
20. Failure to display the Number Bib for the Competitive Runners category shall result in disqualification and no refund shall be given regardless of reason.
21. Road closure will be lifted after 10am on the race day. Participants may continue on the footpath or park connectors at their own risk.
22. No pets or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. in-line skates, prams, push chairs, shoes with rollers, etc are allowed for the event.
23. Participants must be present to claim their prizes at the time of prize giving, failing which the prize will be forfeited.
24. In the event of an emergency arising from any incidents affecting the key installations in the vicinity of East Coast Park, the race will be cancelled without prior notice.
25. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and time of the event. There will be no fee refund if the event is cancelled regardless of reason. Breast Cancer Foundation and their officials shall not be held responsible for any claims arising out of any death or injury, damage or loss, suffered or caused due to participation in the Pink Ribbon Walk & Run 2010, and this includes all costs and expenses incurred as a result of such claims.
26. The Organiser's decision shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained. |
